What is Web Forwarding?

You may already have a website on some freespace allocated by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or hosted elsewhere. Using the web forwarding service you can re-direct all web requests sent to your domain name to the web page you already have on the Internet.

The web forwarding has three modes that are described below:

Masked
The masked method uses a technique called 'frame based forwarding'. To ensure that your domain name remains in the Browsers address line the underlying website you are forwarding to is held within a HTML frame set.

Re-Direct
The re-direct option uses a HTTP 302 Found status code, which tells the Browser to automatically redirect the request to the location specified. This will mean that the forwarding address is displayed in the Browsers address line rather than your domain name.

Disabled
The Disabled option will display the default telivo holding page when any requests for your domain name are received.

The web forwarding can be updated as often an as many times as you like.
