How do I host my website with another company?
The company you want to host with should be able to provide you with a set of Nameservers and IP addresses to point your domain over to. Typically it takes the format of:
ns0.hostcompany.com 62.115.254.6
ns1.hostcompany.com 195.82.107.156
To modify the Nameservers associated with your domain, follow the steps below:
- Login to the Telivo control panel using the username and password you selected when you first registered.
- You will be presented with a list of all the domains you have purchased from Telivo. Next to each domain name will be a drop down menu choose "Nameservers".
- Enter the primary and secondary Nameserver details and IP addresses into the form and click "Submit".
- Changes will be processed instantly, please allow up to 48hrs for them to take effect. The name will now be pointing at your new hosting company.
