Email Forwarding

Email Forwarders allow you to continue using an existing email account (e.g. an account provided by your ISP to recieve email sent to your domain name.

Any messages sent to a specified email address at your domain e.g. yourname@yourdomain.com can be automatically redirected to an existing email address of your choice, just like traditional postal forwarding.

Please note

An email Forwarder cannnot be set up with the same address as and existing POP3 Mailbox and vice versa.

Most Common Use

The most popular use of an email Forwarder is a temporary one e.g. people who are traveling may want their email redirected to an address the can access whilst they are away from their normal computer.

Step-By-Step

  1. Click on the 'Email Management' link
  2. Click on the 'Add New Forwarder' button
  3. In the 'Forwarder' field enter the user/alias part of the email address for this Forwarder
    - e.g. your.name@yourdomain.com
  4. Enter a valid destination email address
  5. Choose whether or not to set the Forwarder as a catchall
  6. Click the 'Create Forwarder' button
  7. Any email now sent to that Forwarder address will now be redirected to the destination address
