New Telivo Affiliate Scheme

Start earning money by referring friends, family or your own website traffic to us. The telivo affiliate scheme allows anybody to earn commission on sales of our domain and hosting products. Simply sign up for our free affiliate program, then anyone that clicks your affiliate link and purchases a product with us earns you money!

Potential Affiliate Earnings

All telivo affiliates can earn up to 10% commission for every referral sale. Our checkout system will log all referrals and sales through your personalised affiliate link. Affiliate links can be placed on websites, newsletters or even regular e-mails enabling our affiliates to maximise their potential income.

How To Become An Affiliate

Registration is a very simple process and consists of the following stages:

Stage 1
Simply click the Sign Up link to our 128-bit secure signup form and fill it out. Affiliate accounts are created immediately so you can start adding links and making money today.

Stage 2
Once you have completed the sign up form you will have access to our Affiliate Control Panel section using your new telivo affiliate username and password. Here you will be able to view statistics, edit account information and access your personal affiliate HTML code. The affiliate scheme provides a large array of banner and text links to use on your web pages.

Stage 3
The next stage is to cut and paste the html link code from the Affiliate HTML section on the control panel into your web page. It is essential that the code is copied exactly and not modified. This code is used to determine which affiliate account is the referrer. Any modification to this code will result in loss of earnings.

Stage 4
The last stage is to analyse the stats and view the affilate earnings on a daily, monthly or yearly basis. This will enable affiliates to monitor exactly what they are earning.

Mailguard Spam and Virus filtering [top]

Mailguard has been designed to pick up any potential Spam and Viruses and place them into a quarantine area which means they never clog up your inbox!

Mailguard is available to all our customers:

Ultra - FREE
Premier - FREE
Starter Plus - £20 + VAT
Starter - £20 + VAT
Email Only - £20 + VAT

From your Mailguard quarantine area you have the option to receive quarantine reports. You can either make this option active or inactive. If you choose active you also have the option to receive reports daily or weekly.

To log on to Mailguard just type yourdomainname/mailguard i.e. http://joebloggs.co.uk/mailguard and login with your email address and password. Your quarantine area will show you your virus list and your spam list. From here you can un-quarantine any emails, delete emails, search and access your settings.

Un-quarantine

If you un-quarantine an email it will be sent to the original mailbox address.

Delete
All Spam and Virus emails are automatically deleted after 30 days, but you can also delete manually either one by one or all at once.

Search
The search option searches text from the email Subject Line and From sections.

Settings
Under the settings option you can make reporting active or inactive. If you select inactive no reports will be sent and the Mailguard will delete these emails when they are over 30days old. You can also change the frequency of active reporting to either daily or weekly. Quarantine reports can be sent to an alternative email address and you can also alter the spam score, which is currently set to 8 (moderate). We do however suggest that if you suffer from a high number of spam and viruses to reduce this number further. Telivo will continue to update, improve and enhance these settings over the coming months.

Help guides are available from the support section of our website www.telivo.com/support

If you are a Starter, Starter Plus or Email Only customer and wish to purchase this new facility you can do so through your web hosting control panel at yourdomain/siteadmin or contact our Customer Support Team on 0870 0116204.

The AnswerBank has the answer! [top]

Telivo feedback recently received this question from a subscriber:

"Can you tell me why we have .co.uk addresses in this country when the French have just .fr and the Irish have .ie etc. Can we have .uk or .gb?".

I asked the AnswerBank and a member submitted the following answer:

According to the Council of European National Top-Level Domain Registries...(http://www.centr.org)

Every country has its own registration rules, that's why there is such a diversity in registrations under the top-level and/or second-level. A top-level is the country code (like .uk), a second level is what stands before the top-level (e.g. the "co" in co.uk). The reason why some countries choose to register under (e.g.) co.uk or org.uk , is to give more people/legal unities the possibility to register the same name under the same country code.

When you ask the AnswerBank a question, they email you to let you know when an answer has been given. You can rate the quality of the answer given; you can decide that you have had enough information and want no more emails; or you can leave the question open for further responses. And you can dip into the AnswerBank at any time to create your own subjects for discussion or simply share in or contribute to what others are talking about. The Answerbank actively seek your questions, and also actively seek your answers. We all have had different experiences and we have very different skills. The AnswerBank enables people who need answers to turn to people like you (our readers) for sound advice. When questions are asked, they want real people to answer them, rather than just present information from textbooks.

So what tricky questions can you think of to put them to the test, or have you always wondered "why does that happen?". Visit www.theanswerbank.co.uk and ask your question!
