Authenticated SMTP - MS Outlook 2007
Below is the guide for authenticating yourself with the SMTP mail
server using Outlook 2007.
- 1. Open up MS Outlook 2007.
- 2. On the Tools menu click Account Settings, a pop up window will appear.

- 3. Select the account you wish to edit and click the 'Change' button.
- 4. Change the 'Outgoing mail server (SMTP)' address to 'mail.' followed by your domain name (excluding www, mail.yourdomain.com).
Then click 'More Settings'.

- 6. Now click on the Outgoing Server tab and ensure that the 'use same settings as my incoming mail server' check box is ticked. Then click OK.

- 7. Now click Next and then Finish to close the E-mail Accounts window.
