Setting up your email hosting to use SMTP with MacMail - Apple Mac

To configure your email account using MacMail follow the steps below:

  1. 1. Open MacMail

  2. 2. Click the Mail tab and choose Preferences
  3. 3. Select the account you wish to edit
  4. 4. Click on Server Settings under the "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) heading

  5. 5. Enter the same information you use to recieve incoming mail

  6. 6. Finish and save your settings
