Setting up authenticated email at your domain name for Windows Mail - Vista

  1. 1. Open up WindowsMail.
  2. 2. On the Tools menu click Accounts, a pop up window will appear.

  3. 3. This will list all of your e-mail accounts. Select the e-mail account that you set-up for your domain name and click the Properties button.

  4. 5. Another pop-up window will appear. Change the 'SMTP server' address to 'mail.' followed by your domain name, excluding the www. (mail.yourdomain.com). Now click the 'Settings button' button.
  5. 6. Check that Logon Information is set to Use the same settings as my incoming mail server.

  6. 7. Click OK to close the window.
